I loved this IKEA! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not busy at all. We didn't even see a lot of people most times. We were able to park first row and they have a wonderful parking garage to keep your car cool.
The cafeteria was delicious and efficient. Bathrooms weren't terribly clean but we used the family bathroom most of the time.
You never know how good it to find an IKEA until you really need one! Just be selective. Drove 200 miles to get exactly what I needed, plus a little more. Affordable, attractive, and good function furniture and housewares. A great use of my time. A nice store in Merriam Kansas!
I introduced a friend from out of town to IKEA. They did not disappoint! It's a positive, fun atmosphere and I love the way they market their products. It's all on display so you can visualize what it looks like on different settings. They have a huge variety of items from rooms in your house to kids items to furniture, kitchen, home decor, etc... A great place to go for ideas as well!
Kids zone gets very busy and a wait on Saturdays.
Don’t ever order anything online. If for some reason you want to cancel the order it’s impossible. Plus when you call in you will get multiple answers to the same question. I would advise not doing business with IKEA at all!!!
The workers were about how all IKEA workers are. Some are helpful some are clueless.
My wife loves to look around the entire store for home ideas. I like more direct in and out layout with less confusing short cuts to exit. When we shopped you had about 50 sales associates on the floor, two checkouts for 20 shoppers. The food was pretty good at cafeteria.
