I am a first time car buyer so I was nervous to say the least. I made an apt to meet with Travis to test drive a vehicle I had been looking at for a while. Travis was awesome! Very knowledgeable, straight forward and honest (all valuable things when working with a dealer). He was upfront about the dealer fees associated with the vehicle and their policy on negotiating vehicle prices. The process was smooth and I was out of there in a few hours with a beautiful new car. I had a lot of questions (since it was my first car purchase) and I never once felt rushed, manipulated or judged by all of my inquiries. Very pleased with my experience. Would recommend to any one.
Kind of hard to know anything about my customer service ability when you take one look at me and just decide not to even sit down and interview me...seems pretty judgmental to me.
IVAN GRAY was my salesman out of Kansas City KS. He was great! He was very polite, not pushy, very helpful and honest! They made me feel like family and I would highly recommend this dealership to others. There were no hidden fees, and the car was priced well. They answered all my questions and were super nice! They are nothing like Overland Park Jeep! They hooked me up with a great bank with a great monthly price. They try their best to get you the best prices there is! The banks they offer were here in town and if I need anything they are just a call away! I love this place! I will be back to purchase other cars from them in the future.
I don't have any stars to give but will give them 1.... I find it interesting that all of their salespeople are for the most part under 35 if that. I have 4 successful years in the car business and I'm age 55 and present myself well. When they had openings I applied in person with a great resume of work yet the (brilliant) Adam Fanning took one look at me and wouldn't even schedule an interview...I think Dan's a decent guy but question the management in place. Unfortunately it doesn't appear they are not an equal opportunity employer and do discriminate....they like young people with little or no experience so when purchasing good luck getting a professional sales rep.
Bianca at Oakes Auto made our experience one of a kind. After all the searching my husband and I did to find the perfect car, she was able to listen to our needs and show us the car we wanted within a matter of minutes. It was the most relieving feeling!! She made the process quick, easy and pressure free. Not to mention, she was an overall awesome person to be around!
My mom and I just dropped by the store in Merriam to look at a car that she had seen online without realizing that there are 2 stores for Oakes Auto. A guy there told us the car was on State Ave and sent us over to see Shay. We were on our way to a birthday party so on a pretty tight schedule. When we got there, she already had the car parked in front of the store and info on it pulled up for us on her computer. We didn't have time to drive it that day and my mom wasn't ready to buy the car that day of course, but she and her managers thanked us for coming in and made us (my mom especially, who gets a bit nervous when shopping for a car with some bad prior experiences!) feel at such ease without the pressure to buy that day or keep us there forever that my mom has completely quit even shopping around at other dealerships because she could tell very quickly that she could trust Shay and Oakes. After our visit that day, neither one of us can imagine putting ourselves through the torture of buying a car at a typical dealership ever again!
To respond the comment left by the dealership my Customer Survey Index score at other dealerships have all been 100% and numerous rave reviews online from countless customers... but by saying we don't hire experienced salespeople with other dealer tactics did you mean( Devin) who comes from a long list of dealerships...or (Erin) who does as well. Question where does (Mr. Fanning) come from... another long list of car dealerships the last of.... don't buy what your selling. As a protected class of hire I wonder what the State or Federal Gov. would think?
